OPERATION QKHILLTOP

The year was 1954 when the government first undertook the beginnings of what would become Project QKHILLTOP.  It was the CIA's new baby and they recruited one of the leading neurological scientists of the time.  The purpose of the project was develop brainwashing techniques that were first practiced by the Chinese many years ago.

Dr Wolff got right to work, demanding the CIA release crucial data on imprisonment, deprivation, humiliation, torture, brainwashing, and hypnosis. Even in 1954, it wasn't the governments first rodeo with things such as these, which probably made Dr. Wolff's job that much easier. 

Wolff was eventually able to develop and formulate a plan through which secret drugs and various brain damaging techniques and procedures could be underwent to alter a person's brain activity-- in most cases erasing the memory completely.  In short, Dr. Wolff was a mad scientist who was funded by the CIA, playing right into their plan of developing the perfect spy academy.  

The research done by Dr. Wolff was eventually turned over to the CIA and Wolff was threatened that if ever divulged the secrets, his findings would be used against him.  Needless to say, he never opened his mouth, because who wants to undergo such a process.  It can be a bit painful and by a bit, I mean excruciating.  Not not only that but it cause severe mental breakdown when you literally lose your mind like that.  

The CIA used the doctor's findings to start a program, where a group of secret spies and assassins were trained.  They'd be administered drugs and be taught and brainwashed in ways that were suitable to the CIAs needs.  For example, one thing they were taught is that is they were ever caught by an enemy or their cover was blown, revealing their identity, they were to kill themselves in dramatic fashion, as to completely destroy any identification.

The thin is, we've seen things like this before, but this program was worse than typical.  The CIA would even recruit young children, keeping them in military quarters for their entire life, teaching them brainwashing lessons-- pretty much the equivalent to how Islamist terrorists train suicide bombers.  By the time their mission was ready to be underwent, they pledge allegiance to the CIA and thought that what they were being taught was the "Normal" way of living.  

As for the types of missions they'd go on, they'd be totally covert missions.  They were the type of things that everybody knows existed but nobody ever wanted to talk about.  The CIA has been brought back ancient artifacts from the pyramids.  They have sent these operatives to entirely new dimensions, from which they brought back alien technology.  They have been sent to Russia to bring back artifacts from the opening of Hell that exists in Siberia.  Of course they've been sent to places like the Vatican and the Bucegi Sphinx and the White pyramids in Russia.  They've been sent all over the place to collect paranormal and supernatural data for the government to use in their research.  

Most of the times, if the operatives did a good job was when their life became worse.  The best possible scenario was to be killed in action.  If they returned successfully, the CIA completely deactivated their brains, drove the mentally insane and stuck them in facilities that gave them barely enough food and water to get by.  They didn't want their operations to be broadcast to the public and they didn't want to run an risks, so this is what they did.  The operatives would live in the confines until death, when their bodies would be thrown into an incinerator.  

I know it seems as though I'm talking past tense, but these operations still go on today.  Kids still go missing and operatives are still sent to far away places, other realms, different dimensions, and through portals.  They are sent also go gain information on our enemies such as Russia and China, you know... the whole James Bond type of thing, except real life.  To permanently record the data of their operative, each operative is given some sort of tracking device.  The memory of the operative is burned into this item, as data would be burned onto a disk.  This way, if the CIA ever needs to revisit what an operative has seen, all they have to do is where the item that has been burned with a specific memory.  The pieces that didn't make it back were set to self-incinerate, so you see this is a highly covert and highly valuable system to the CIA.
