Sanguine Djinn

All through the world and through different realms and plains of existence there are different types of beings.  However, the type of being that is set into this item is one of the rarest types of beings that you will ever come across.  This is because there just aren't that many of them.  It's kind of like you can walking down the street and see a whole bunch of pigeons or sparrows, but when's the last time you said, "Hey, check out that cool looking Phoenix perched atop of the store's ledge?"  I mean, I'm sure it could happen, but what are the chances.

This is how rare the opportunity to presents itself to you is right now.  What we have is a very rare type of djinn.  In mythology books, it would be referred to as a Pelesit.  This is the technical name for it-- a spirit that prefers to make its home in the lands in and around Malaysia.  That having been said, these beings are unofficially known as sanguine djinn.  This is because in order to birth this kind of djinn, a blood-letting ceremony is required.   

The blood-letting ceremony has to be done by the light of the full moon and the resulting is kept in a bottle.  The spirit can remain invisible or it might just show up in full spiritual form or in the physical form of a grasshopper.  Either way, the sanguine djinn are extremely powerful. I won't say they are the most ancient to exist, but their power rivals that of the top of any faction of djinn that you will encounter, including a Blue Efreet.  

The Shaman who created djinn would be responsible for feeding it once a month by the light of the full moon.  This would assure that the djinn didn't get hungry, causing havoc on the village.  If the djinn got out, there were issues, because after granting all the magic they granted, all they required in return was a few drops of blood each month.  How hard was that, right?  

Anyway, during an investigation of a secret temple in what is now modern-day Malaysia, we found a bottle with a set of inscriptions around the top.  We could feel the energy that was in the bottle, but took it with us to get a feel for what was actually in the bottle.  It didn't take long, because on the way back to where we were staying, I dropped the bottle and it shattered. Out hopped this little grasshopper and I turned to Deedee and asked her who would want to keep a grasshopper in a bottle?  

Before I even finish my sentence a full form sanguine djinn was hovering in the air above us.  I'm not going to lie, it smell like burnt rotting meat, despite the fact that it showed up in metaphysical form.  Deedee was quick to react with a binding spell that conjured the metaphysical form into this item.  It didn't take her long to realize what had happened.  It was definitely a Pelesit.  

The piece that we are offering, as such, has a Pelesit-- a Sanguine Djinn-- conjured into it.  It will only come to you in soul form, so no need to worry about the smells.  That is if he chooses to show himself to you at all.  There's always the possibility that he will not.  He is a very powerful, powerful entity.  He holds ancient Malay and Oriental magic and he is an entity that is dual in nature, so there is no type of magic he won't try.
