Bast used to be an ancient Egyptian man, he was from the times of pharaohs and scarabs. Somehow this man touched god and so he gave him angel wings. Bast won’t tell you what he did, just that it was a sad day for him. Bast was given a young charge to watch over, and he was told to have no more contact with what was left of his family after he was given his wings. Bast watched over this young child as if it were his own, he was careful not to be seen by anyone but him.
However, Bast had a weak spot for his little sister Ahti. She was only fourteen and would soon be married. He came to her in the night and promised to watch over her with the new powers he was given. She couldn’t believe what she saw but thanked him graciously. She made him promise to come back the night before her wedding.
She was so proud of him she told people about his wings and his new god. This angered people, and somehow they found out he was coming before her wedding. They cut his wings off destroying his abilities to magically travel and see all his charges. That night after being stripped he was unable to fulfill his duties -very ashamed he hid.
His young charge was killed by his own abusive father. He was unable to stop this from happening and went to a magic woman for help. He told her he wanted to continue being a guardian angel but god had refused to speak to him anymore. She told him he still had abilities but couldn’t hide anymore like he needed to. So she placed his spirit in a bracelet she had. He would be the guardian angel of whoever had the piece with them, he would be forever out of sight but would continue to work.
He has been transferred from one item to another for many years. Now he is here and is a devoted guardian angel. Bast can watch over you, help with setbacks, stress, and relationships. He can heal and give you dreams as well. He is personally devoted to anyone who holds him near.
