We call this piece the vampire conduit. If you look at the ring it has to "balls" on it. One of them holds the full spirit of an energetic vampire. The other is waiting for the owner to wear the piece. When you do, a very small portion of your soul is going to set into the second "ball". The conduit is going to mix the vampire soul with the small fragment of your own soul. This new soul is going to be remitted back into your body to join the rest of your soul.
