We traveled back in time to make this piece. We needed to test a piece that allowed us to travel in time, so that's what we were doing when we decided to swing by ancient Mexico and catch a Blood Ritual Sacrifice. Actually, we would have taken anything Mayan. It just happened that we dropped in on a time and place when they were performing a blood ritual. We watched it intently. It's not like they knew we were there. We maintained our invisibility. The ritual was done so that way they could conjure ancient spirits that would advise them on how to live their lives and guide them in the way of magic.
